Ratanawadi in Traunstein

Delicious. Great to take away.

We discovered the Ratanawadi restaurant by chance and loved it. It's a cute little restaurant. The food was delicious. The waiter was outstanding! Very friendly, attentive, child-friendly, funny and yet not intrusive. Top! All current hygiene measures are observed and implemented. We felt very comfortable. We wish all the best for the coming weeks.

Wow! Really highly recommended! We got there by accident and really loved it. Very tasty food, everything freshly prepared! Very nice and friendly team, also super child-friendly ?? everything in a nice and Thai atmosphere. Small but nice ?? When we are in Traunstein again, we will definitely stop by again.

The owner is very friendly and interested. The food was okay, but not a highlight. In my opinion, the mini spring rolls are easy to defrost. On every plate, whether starter or main course, there is the same, unimaginative and, in my opinion, unsuitable side salad. Unfortunately, I expected a little more from these great reviews, especially from the food. When ordering, they were explicitly asked for spiciness requirements (we had ordered three different degrees of spiciness for three dishes), but unfortunately these could not be determined in the food served.

An absolute insider tip, the store is hardly to be found without us having found it beforehand via Google ........ To be honest, I would never have gone into this street to look for a restaurant. The better better better it was, from the hottest waiter (we enjoyed ourselves so much) to the food. See photos, highly recommended and super tasty. Some of the dishes can even be put together by yourself. It's a shame that we live so far, otherwise I would have become a regular customer. Thank you for the hospitality, 6 stars from us.

Best Asian restaurant I ever went to.

With so many good reviews, you are sometimes skeptical. The Ratanawadi with its very nice boss definitely deserves the 5 stars. We had a birthday dinner there with 7 people. Everyone was completely satisfied, the price / performance ratio was also right. The only drawback: no dogs and no card payment.

Amazing Thai restaurant with lovely owner. I been here twice on business trip to Traunstein and totally enjoyed it. The food is made with fresh ingredients and very delicious. Their menu is not like the typical germanized Asian restaurant. The owner is very talkative and super nice, I guess that's why they have so many regulars here (it seems like she knows everyone) . The place is rather small and it can get a little busy in here. Totally worth the visit!

Enjoyed the food, very traditional and authentic. Fantastic and very friendly staff. Prices are fair, the interior is the only reason, not giving 5 Stars, we will come back soon!!!

Great food & great service. Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants I have ever visited. A good variety on the menu (starters, main course and dessert). The service is top; the owner super communicate & friendly. I always ask the owner for a daily recommendation. She has never failed in her recommendations! The restaurant is small, so reserve a table in advance - especially in the evening / weekend. Due to the small size, and when full, it can be somewhat loud. Dogs are strictly not allowed.

Food was not bad but unfortunately no english menue, staff was not interested to translate from german menue and no payment by (any) card possible.....

Friendly atmosphere, nice Thaï food and reasonable prices - worth a try or more!
